Starting her creative journey as a Graphic Designer at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Mariana transitioned into painting, where she has since flourished. Today, her work has been showcased in both national and international exhibitions. In 2024, she took part in the group show Trending Abstracto at Galería Espacio Alternativo Juanita Echeverry in San Felipe. In 2025, she was selected to represent Colombia at the 7th Salon of Colombian Artists in Tokyo at Gallery 21, and also participated in the 81st GENTEN Art Festival at the National Art Center Tokyo, Japan. That same year, she presented her first solo exhibition, Reverie, at Galería ARCOT in Bogotá — an introspective body of work that marked a significant milestone in her creative evolution.

Mariana’s work is currently exhibited in Miami at The White's Art Gallery and at the Miami Intercontinental Doral hotel. Her pieces are part of private collections in Colombia, and she has completed numerous commissioned artworks. She has also collaborated with design brands such as Valango Jewelry, creating unique pieces that seamlessly blend art and object.

Mariana’s art draws from the rawness of human emotion, exploring the tension between chaos and calm that comes with living with anxiety and feeling everything deeply. Shaped by a misunderstood childhood, she learned to process intense emotions through intentional practices—movement, writing, and art—each becoming a path to healing and expression. Her work weaves together a passion for color and movement—inspired by her inner child—, using layering techniques that evoke both lightness and depth. Mariana’s creative process moves between minimalism and playfulness—sometimes grounded in smooth, subtle color gradients, and at other times bursting with bold, expressive strokes. Her work is a direct reflection of her inner world, seeking to convey a sense of balance and offer comfort and validation to the viewer. Each piece invites a pause—a moment of presence—while encouraging personal interpretation and the discovery of one’s own stories within the art. Writing and graphic design expand her creative language, opening new pathways for inspiration and giving form to ideas beyond the canvas.
